The number of deaths registered by month in England and Wales have now been finalised. There are only small changes from the provisional figures released during the year.

The Vital Statistics: Population and Health Reference Tables provide quarterly and annual mortality data for the United Kingdom and its constituent countries. Monthly Provisional Figures on Deaths Registered by Area of Usual Residence provide provisional monthly mortality data for England and Wales. Weekly provisional deaths registered in England and Wales provide provisional weekly data on deaths registered in England and Wales.
There is also an interactive mapping tool which enables trends in mortality to be analysed at the local level.
