This publication has been discontinued following a consultation on restructuring ONS mortality statistics. The last volume published was Mortality statistics: Cause, 2005 (Series DH2 No. 32).

The annual publication Deaths registered in England and Wales (based on death registrations) includes selected tables from DH2.
