Release: Engineering Turnover and Orders, December 2009

Estimates for the engineering sector. Estimates are published at current prices covering turnover and orders. The engineering sector covers classes 29 to 33 as defined by the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC92).

From January 2010, this publication was superseded by the Turnover and Orders in Production and Services Industries (TOPSI) release. A range of figures are available that are broadly comparable in coverage, although aggregations are now based on the updated 2007 Standard Industrial Classification. Backdata has been reworked using the revised methodology and new industry classifications to provide a consistent time-series that replaces data published in ETO; this is made available within the TOPSI timeseries data.
