A Report on the Living Costs and Food Survey 2008

12 November 2012

A production error was discovered in the 2008 dataset on 12 November 2012. This arose from the weighting process (see Appendix B) and hence affects all of the datasets. This resulted in very slight inaccuracies in the data presented throughout the 2009 edition of Family Spending. The impact of the errors on the results was thoroughly checked and found to be negligible. The usage of the data is not affected, and the data will not be withdrawn or replaced.
