The following compares the total output volume for the three months from February 2012 to April 2012 with that of the same three months one year earlier, in constant prices, not seasonally adjusted:
The change between Q4 2011 and Q1 2012 in the constant price, seasonally adjusted series has been revised to a fall of 4.9 per cent, down from the previous estimate of a 4.8 per cent fall.
Tables giving historic and other more detailed breakdowns of the data are available in the reference tables (1.08 Mb Excel sheet) published with this summary.

The new monthly output survey commenced in January 2010, replacing the existing survey which was carried out quarterly.
Seasonally adjusted monthly estimates will not be available until enough monthly data are available for this to be done reliably. After 3 years of estimates are available, ONS will review if it is feasible at that point.
