The Migration Statistics Quarterly Report (MSQR) is a summary of the quarterly releases of official international migration data. This edition covers those quarterly datasets released on 30 August. It also links to other migration products released on that date.

In particular, it reports the ten most common countries of birth for non-UK born mothers and fathers, the age of mothers by country of birth as well as total fertility rates for UK born and non-UK born women. This bulletin presents the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on deaths related to drug poisoning (involving both legal and illegal drugs) and drug misuse (involving illegal drugs) in England and Wales for the last five years. Data from 1993 are available to download from the website, and are discussed in the commentary to provide context to the latest (2011) data. Figures are presented by cause of death, sex, age and substance(s) involved in the death.

This Statistical Bulletin contains the latest information on households and the adults and children living in them, by household economic activity status. It also includes estimates of employment rates of people by parental status.

The Services Producer Price Index (SPPI) are primarily a suite of individual price indices that provide information on price change for a limited range of service industries. Each SPPI captures quarterly changes in the price received for services provided by GB businesses to other UK businesses and Government. These individual price indices are also aggregated together to create a 'service industry' SPPI with limited coverage.

The phrase 'Pre-release Access' refers to the practice whereby official statistics in their final form, and any accompanying written commentary, are made available to an eligible person in advance of their publication. The rules and principles which govern pre-release access are featured within the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008.

Business investment estimates are a short term indicator of capital expenditure by manufacturing and non-manufacturing businesses within the UK, Q2 2012 provisional results.

This release looks both at how households access the Internet and adults' use of computers. It will be useful for those interested in how people connect to the Internet in their homes and help inform debate on digital and social exclusion. This is a partial release of the 2012 Internet Access Households and Individuals statistical bulletin, because it does not contain the estimates of adults’ use of the Internet that have been included in this publication in previous years. These estimates have been delayed until February 2013. This delay is due to a data collection problem which is believed to have been caused by a question wording change. A complete Internet Access households and Individuals 2012 publication will be made available on the ONS website in February 2013.

Figures are presented for deaths registered in 2011, with previously released figures presented for 2001 to 2010 for comparison purposes. Information is also given about the context and use of the statistics, and the method used to produce them.

This bulletin presents the latest figures for deaths where Meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) was mentioned or was identified as the underlying cause of death on death certificates. Data are presented for England and Wales and are broken down by sex, age group and place of death. Comparisons are made between data for 2011, the latest year, and previously released data from 1993 onwards. Information is given about the context and use of the statistics, and the methods used to produce them. For the first time, inequality in the number of deaths involving Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA are examined using the English and Welsh Indices of Multiple Deprivation (IMD 2010 and WIMD 2011) respectively.

These single month LFS analyses have been produced as a tool to assist in understanding the movements in the published 3 month average LFS estimates. These estimates are not designated as National Statistics.

The ONS House Price Index, previously published by the Department for Communities and Local Government is a monthly release that publishes figures for mix-adjusted average house prices and house price indices for the UK and its component countries and regions.
