Provides a source of essential statistics for the regions of England and the constituent countries of the UK (Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). The tables provide a range of demographic, social and economic statistics including population and population density for local authority areas.

This publication is produced monthly and provides price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group level. It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters. The Reference Tables show price indices of: Materials & fuel purchased: all manufacturing & selected industries (Table 1)

Contains cost indices (purchase of materials and fuels, average weekly earnings, general expenses and combined costs) relating to four aerospace and electronics industries. The data are based on the Standard Industrial Classification SIC (2007) and are calculated on a base year of 2005=100. The indices are widely used by government and business as an authoritative source of information on inflation, cost adjusting and price variation in trading contracts. Indices for the latest two months are always provisional and flagged with a "p" marker due to the level of imputation present for items where the latest prices are not available. This level of imputation reduces significantly for earlier months, allowing index data to be published as firm values. Occasionally, new information produces a change in the value of an index already published as firm. Where change is significant, index values are recalculated and annotated with an "r" marker.

This spreadsheet pulls together the numerous tables that were published prior to the launch of the new ONS website. It provides a one-stop-shop which aims to complement the Consumer Price Indices Time Series data sets that can be found via the ONS website The 'Contents' page provides guidance on those data sets which are included, along with a correlation index showing old and new naming conventions and previous publication source(s), for example: RPI All items 1947 -2013.

This spreadsheet shows summary information on the size and direction of the revisions which have been made to the data covering a five year period. A statistical test has been applied to the average revision to find out if it is statistically significantly different from zero. These numbers include the effect of the reclassification onto SIC 2007.

This reference table provides full historical series for the monthly tables accompanying the April 2013 House Price Index Statistical Bulletin. This reference table also contains all the quarterly live tables transferred to the ONS from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). Please note that during the transfer, the Office for National Statistics has renumbered the live tables - full details of the new numbers and their corresponding DCLG numbers can be found in the contents tab.

Time series dataset: UK trade is a key economic indicator due to the importance of international trade to the UK economy. It is also a very timely statistic, providing an early indicator of what is happening more generally in the economy. In addition, it is a major component of two other key economic statistics – UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the UK Balance of Payments. This means that there is a threefold potential for UK Trade statistics to inform the Government’s view of the UK economy, as well as the views of others, such as economists, City analysts, academics, the media, and international organisations.

This Excel spreadsheet contains the IOS1, RIOS1 and IOSCOMP tables. Index of Services shows the monthly movements in gross value added for the service industries, which overall account for around 77 % of UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

This table illustrates the extent to which individual businesses experienced actual changes in their sales between April 2012 and April 2013. The table contains information only from businesses which reported in both periods. Cells with values less than 10 are suppressed for some classification categories
