It will take 70 days to traverse the UK finishing on 27 July at the opening ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics. The torch will stop at a location every evening for a celebration. This map showcases the wealth of data available for an area by allowing users to click on a stop to find summary statistics for that area, including statistics such as unemployment rate, average house price and life expectancy.
