16-Apr-2013The Office for National Statistics (ONS) House Price Index, previously published by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is a monthly release that publishes figures for mix-adjusted average house prices and house price indices for the UK and its component countries and regions. All tables transferred from the DCLG to ONS can be accessed via the reference tables that are available in the data section of this release.

19-Mar-2013The phrase 'Pre-release access' refers to the practice whereby official statistics in their near final form, and any accompanying written commentary, are made available to an eligible person in advance of their publication. The rules and principles which govern pre-release access are featured within the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008. This list shows those officials who received 24 hours pre-release access to the January 2013 HPI.
