This table provides 2011 Census estimates that classify usual residents aged 16 to 74 by their method of travel to work, for regions, counties, London boroughs, districts and unitary authorities in England and Wales on census day (27 March 2011). This table provides an alternate estimate of travel to work compared with table QS701EW (published in earlier census releases) because it uses both a person's place of work and their method of travel to work to provide comparability with 2001 Census data on travel to work.
