The Office for National Statistics (ONS) Newport site is approximately two miles west of Newport city centre, set in pleasant surroundings next to Tredegar House stately home and park and close to junction 28 of the M4.
The Newport office is the corporate headquarters of ONS.
The work here focuses on the collection and analysis of business and economic statistics, though there is a growing emphasis on social analysis.
ONS's corporate services are also based here.

The London site is at Drummond Gate off Vauxhall Bridge Road in Pimlico, close to the Thames Embankment, Tate Britain and the Houses of Parliament.
There are numerous restaurants, shops and theatres nearby, while major shopping and entertainment areas such as Oxford Circus and Covent Garden are in easy reach by Tube.
Our role
The London office is the home to the methodology advisory service and the virtual microdata laboratory.
There is a small Media Relations Office presence and media briefings are held here.

Location
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) Titchfield site is about a mile outside Titchfield village, which lies midway between Portsmouth and Southampton on the south coast of England. The ten-acre site is a former World War Two Royal Air Force barrage balloon station.
Our role
The work of the Titchfield office focuses on population, demography, geography and regional and local statistics.
This includes responsibility for the ten-yearly census of population.
