  • Employment rate highest in the East and South East (74.5 per cent), lowest in the North East (65.1 per cent)
  • Unemployment rate highest in the North East (11.3 per cent) and lowest in the South East (5.8 per cent)
  • Inactivity rate highest in the North East (26.5 per cent) and lowest in the East (20.0 per cent)
  • Claimant Count rate highest in North East (7.3 per cent), lowest in South West and South East (3.3 per cent)
