Correction
A production error was discovered in the reference table 1 download, originally published on 15 May 2012.
In the amenable mortality figures, the incorrect number of deaths were reported for all amenable causes and infections, for England and Wales, between 2001 and 2010. The 2007 infections mortality rate and the 2009 infections lower confidence limit were also incorrect.
This error has now been corrected.
