The short video podcast using audio commentary and graphical animations covers the following :

1. It shows the latest estimates of retail sales comparing the latest month on month change and the annual change.

2. It then looks at the proportion of annual sales in December in comparison to the rest of the year and then looks at the four main sectors (predominantly food, predominantly non-food, non-store retailing and automotive fuel) and how monthly sales change throughout 2011.
