Change over Time Analysis (CoTA) Viewer is a visual tool which assists the analysis of worklessness data and how it changes over time for small areas. In this version, worklessness data from 2001 to 2011 can be analysed for Lower Super Output Areas (LSOA) in England. Two products are available:

  1. CoTA Viewer (11.12 Mb ZIP) - An interactive data visualisation toolkit displaying the counts and proportions of people receiving various types of benefits for local authorities in England and LSOAs within each local authority.

  2. Interactive CoTA workbook (11.33 Mb ZIP) - An interactive Excel workbook providing detailed statistical analysis of worklessness data (counts and rates) along with the benefits data and population data used to produce these products.
