Labour productivity statistics in terms of output per worker, output per job and output per hour worked for the whole economy and a range of industries. The release also presents unit labour cost estimates, regional productivity estimates and experimental market sector productivity estimates.
An error occurred in the index calculation formula for identifiers (DJW6, DJW7, DJW8, DJ4M, DJ4N, DJ4O) contributing to Reference Tables 1 and 10, as published at 9.30 a.m. on 29 March 2012. The data affected are the indices and growth rates of output per job and productivity jobs within the Production section for quarters 3 and 4 of 2011.
The correct index values for output per job (DJ4M) are 100.1 in quarter 3 and 99.5 in quarter 4 2011. The correct index values for productivity jobs (DJW6) are 91.5 in quarter 3 and 90.9 in quarter 4 2011. The growth rates associated with these series are also affected.
An error occurred in the production of annual values for 2011 in the whole economy and industry level output per job series as published at 9.30a.m. on 29 March 2012. Annual data are only presented in the time-series dataset. The data affected are the index values and derived growth rates of all output per job annual series for the year 2011. All quarterly data are unaffected.
The correct index value for whole economy output per job (LNNN) is 98.9 for 2011. The correct index values and growth rates for industry level output per job series for 2011 are available in the time series dataset.
