The intermediate estimate of the 2011 PRODCOM Survey shows that UK manufacturers’ sales in cash terms increased by 5% to £338 billion when compared with 2010.
The intermediate estimate has been revised downward slightly from the 2011 provisional estimate of £340 billion.
Of the top 10 products by sales value, listed in Table 1, six relate to the motor vehicle and aircraft industries while two are from the drinks industries (water, beer).
