Dataset details: Profitability of UK Companies, Q1 2012 Dataset

Time series data

Due to a production error, capital consumption and gross capital employed have been corrected from 1997 to 2006. This has also led to corrections to net operating surplus and net capital employed 1997 to 2006 and to net rates of return 1997 quarter 1 to 2006 quarter 1.

The series affected are:
BGXZ: Capital consumption for total PNFCs
LRWW: Net rates of return for total PNFCs
LRWM: Net operating surplus for total PNFCs
LRWT: Gross capital employed for total PNFCS
LRWU: Net capital employed for total PNFCs
LRWV: Gross rate of return for total PNFCs
BGYC: Capital consumption for total Non-UKCS
LRXP: Net rates of return for total Non-UKCS
LRXH: Net operating surplus for total Non-UKCS

Incorrect estimates were published on the 10 July. These were all series prior to 1997 and quarterly estimates for series other than the rates of return. These have now been removed.
