A production error has been discovered in Table A7 of the United Kingdom Economic Accounts, Q4 2011, originally published on 28 March 2012. 

In Table A7, the growth rate series have been published based on the non-seasonally adjusted rather than the seasonally adjusted quarterly data series.

The following series relate to the non-seasonally adjusted data published in the table A7 part 1:

·        percentage change, latest year on previous year (KGY4, KG6H, KG7V, KG83, KG89, KG8F, KG8L, KG8R, KG8X, KG95, KG9B, KGA7, KGC3, KGD7)

·        percentage change, quarter on previous quarter (KGY5, KG6J, KG7W, KG84, KG8A, KG8G, KG8M, KG8S, KG8Y, KG96, KG9C, KGA8, KGC4, KGD8)

·        percentage change, quarter on corresponding quarter of previous year (KGY6, KG6L, KG7X, KG85, KG8B, KG8H, KG8N, KG8T, KG8Z, KG97, KG9D, KGA9, KGC5, KGD9)

The following series relate to the non-seasonally adjusted data published in the table A7 part 2:

·        percentage change, latest year on previous year (KGZ2, KG7D, KG7Y, KG86, KG8C, KG8I, KG8O, KG8U, KG92, KG98, KG9E, KGB5, KGC9, KGE5)

·        percentage change, quarter on previous quarter (KGZ3, KG75, KG7Z, KG87, KG8D, KG8J, KG8P, KG8V, KG93, KG99, KG9F, KGB6, KGD2, KGE6)

·        percentage change, quarter on corresponding quarter of previous year (KGZ4, KG7J, KG82, KG88, KG8E, KG8K, KG8Q, KG8W, KG94, KG9A, KG9G, KGB7, KGD3, KGE7)

The following series relate to the non-seasonally adjusted data published in the table A7 part 3:

·        percentage change, latest year on previous year (KGY4, KG6H, KHC6, KHB2, KHH2, KHE2, KHF6)

·        percentage change, quarter on previous quarter (KGY5, KG6J, KHC7, KHB3, KHH3, KNW6, KNW8)

·        percentage change, quarter on corresponding quarter of previous year (KGY6, KG6L, KHC8, KHB4, KHH4, KNW7, KNW9)

The following series relate to the non-seasonally adjusted data published in the table A7 part 4:

·        percentage change, latest year on previous year (KGZ2, KG7D, KHD4, KHB8, KHH8, KHE8, KHG4)

·        percentage change, quarter on previous quarter (KGZ3, KG7G, KHD5, KHB9, KHH9, KHE9, KHG5)

·        percentage change, quarter on corresponding quarter of previous year (KGZ4, KG7J, KHD6, KHC2, KHI2, KHF2, KHG6)

For clarification and to ensure consistency with the equivalent data series published in tables E1, E2, E3 and E4 of the Quarterly National Accounts (QNA) publication, the series listed above have been replaced with the equivalent seasonally adjusted growth rates. 

No other series were affected and this error has now been corrected.

A production error was discovered in table A1 of UK Economic Accounts, 2011 Q4, originally published on 28th March 2012. The GVA at factor cost series (YBHH) and its associated growth rate series (KGN5, KGN6 and KGN7) were incorrect for the four quarters of 2011 and for the year 2011 as a whole. No other series are affected. This error has now been corrected.
