Release: United Kingdom Economic Accounts, Q3 2012

• Provides detailed estimates of national product, income and expenditure, UK sector accounts and UK balance of payments.

• World totals for trade in services incorporate latest benchmark estimates from the ONS International Trade in Services survey from 2011 onwards, however is has not been possible to revise the geographic breakdown of services data for EU and Non-EU (Table B6).

• In the 2012 Q3 United Kingdom Economic Accounts (UKEA), published on 27 September 2012, we announced that the portable document format (PDF) version of the UKEA would no longer be made available for future releases. However, we can now confirm that for future UKEA publications, the PDF version will be retained as a supplementary document to the more detailed Excel reference tables.

The 2012 Q3 release of the United Kingdom Economic Accounts includes some new data not previously published. The new series are;

• Dividends (D.421), seasonally (NRKU) and not seasonally adjusted (NWYX) in Table A37 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households Sector reference tables.

• Withdrawals from the income of quasi-corporations (D.422), seasonally (NBOJ) and not seasonally adjusted (HAXY) in Table A37 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households Sector reference tables.

• Taxes on income from employment (D.511pt), seasonally (DBBQ) and not seasonally adjusted (DBBO) in Table A38 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households Sector reference tables.

• Taxes on self-employment and other (D.511pt), seasonally (ZAFH) and not seasonally adjusted (ZAFG) in Table A38 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households Sector reference tables.

• Employers' actual social contributions: Funded pension schemes (D.6111pt), seasonally (RNNG) and not seasonally adjusted (NSAR) in Table A38 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households Sector reference tables.

• Employees actual social contributions: Funded pension schemes (D.6112pt), seasonally (RNNN) and not seasonally adjusted (GCRR) in Table A38 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households Sector reference tables.

• Foreign currency deposits with UK MFIs (AF.2212 - NKKE) in Table A57 of the Non-Financial Corporation Sector reference tables.

• Real household disposable income indices, seasonally (OSXS) and not seasonally adjusted (OSXR) in Table XS1 of the Household and non-profit institutions serving households sector reference tables.
