The Older People's Day 2011 statistical bulletin brings together new data releases of the 2010 mid-year population estimates of the very elderly (including centenarians) and the 2008-2010 national life tables by single year of age, and further analysis of previously released data to give a picture of the older population (aged 65 and over) in the UK.
