Dataset details: Labour Market Statistics Dataset

This is a large dataset which contains labour market statistics data series. Labour market statistics estimates are also available from  data tables in spreadsheet format . For most customers these spreadsheets are likely to be the most convenient way of accessing the data. 

The Time Series dataset facility is primarily designed for users who wish to customise their own datasets. For example, users can use the Time Series Dataset facility to create a single spreadsheet including series for unemployment, claimant count, employment and workforce jobs, rather than extracting the required data from several separate spreadsheets published on the website. Selecting the "Download entire dataset" option will generate a very large spreadsheet and is not recommended for this dataset.

In this dataset Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates are shown for the mid-month of the three-month average time periods. For example, estimates for January to March 2012 are shown as "February 2012", estimates for February to April 2012 are shown as "March 2012", etc.
