Workless Households for Regions across the UK - Pre-release access, 2012

The phrase 'Pre-release Access' refers to the practice whereby official statistics in their final form, and any accompanying written commentary, are made available to an eligible person in advance of their publication. The rules and principles which govern pre-release access are featured within the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008.

Besides ONS staff, the following persons are given pre-release access by the period indicated before release.

The following persons are given pre-release access 24 hours before release:

Department for Work and Pensions:

  • Economic Adviser - Child Poverty and Analysis Directorate

  • Economic Adviser - Economy and Employment Division

  • Policy Official

  • Private Office Official

  • Press Officer

  • Permanent Secretary- Minister for Employment

  • Special Adviser

Welsh Government:

  • Head - Economic and Labour Market,

  • Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science

  • First Minister

Scottish Government: 

  • Statistician - Education Analytical Services Division

  • Assistant Statistician - Education Analytical Services Division
