These datasets accompany the release 'Crime Statistics, period ending March 2013' and contain recorded crime for police force areas; and recorded crime figures for Community Safety Partnerships which equates in the majority of instances to local authorities.
Presents the most recent crime statistics from the Crime Survey for England and Wales and police recorded crime. As announced by the Home Secretary in July 2011 the compilation and publication of the crime statistics for England and Wales transferred from the Home Office to the Office for National Statistics in April 2012.
