The new monthly output survey commenced in January 2010.
For this publication, the quarterly seasonal adjustment methodolgy has been updated and applied to the entire seasonally adjusted quarterly series. Last month's data, which did not include these revisions, is available as part of the Q4/December 2011 Output in the Construction Industry bulletin.
Seasonally adjusted monthly estimates will not be available until enough monthly estimates have been produced (about 3 years of estimates are required). Therefore, figures in this release do not make any month on month comparisons.
All monthly values, including the graph, have been produced using estimates in constant prices (KP), not seasonally adjusted.
