The total volume (in £m) of all new construction orders in the third quarter of 2011 rose by 12.8 per cent compared with the second quarter of 2011.
The total volume of new construction orders fell by 5.5 per cent compared with the same period in 2010.
The largest contribution to growth in the third quarter came from private commercial which increased by 21.4% compared with the second quarter.
