Survey: Adult Dental Health Survey View everything for Adult Dental Health Survey (0)

The Adult Dental Health Survey (ADH) is carried out every ten years, and investigates people's dental health, their experiences of dental care and their access to dental services. The survey results provide important information about the dental health of the nation. This information helps health authorities to effectively plan local dental services and shows the extent to which government dental health targets are being met. The results from the latest, 2009 survey will also be compared with those from previous surveys to allow changes over time to be understood. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is carrying out the survey on behalf of the NHS Information Centre for health and social care, in partnership with the National Centre for Social Research, and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency. The survey team also includes dental experts from the Universities of Birmingham, Cardiff, Dundee, Newcastle, and University College London.
