ONS produces information about the lower end of the earnings distribution and produces estimates for the number of jobs paid below the National Minimum Wage.
The figures are based on data from the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) and are broken down by Age Group and by gender and full-time or part-time work and also by industry sector, Government Office Region and major occupation groups.
Distribution of UK employee low paid earnings by 10p bands is also provided.
