Announcement of change to United Kingdom Economic Accounts (UKEA) and Balance of Payments (BoP) CDIDs

EU27 is changing to EU28 in the next United Kingdom Economic Accounts (UKEA) and in the Balance of Payments (BoP) publications.

Changes will affect Tables B6, B6A, B6B and B6C in the UKEA and Table C in the Balance of Payments bulletin.

Croatia joined the European Union on 1 July 2013, therefore the 2013 Quarter Two edition of the UKEA will include Croatia within the time series for transactions with European Union (EU) members shown in tables B6 and B6A. As a result of this change to coverage, all the time series for transactions with European Union members will have new four character identifiers - there will be changes in identifiers for Trade in Services, Trade in Goods, Trade in Goods and Services, Income, Current Transfers and Total.

Similarly the time series for transactions with non-EU members in tables B6B and B6C will be changed to exclude Croatia from their totals. As with tables B6 and B6A, tables B6B and B6C will have new four character identifiers covering Trade in Services, Trade in Goods, Trade in Goods and Services, Income, Current Transfers and Total.

Table C in the Balance of Payments bulletin will also change its four character identifiers in line with the UKEA publication. There will be new identifiers for Trade in Services, Trade in Goods, Trade in Goods and Services, Income, Current Transfers and Totals.

Changes to both publications are available as an Excel file to view and download.
