The Report for Parliamentary Constituencies contains data for the United Kingdom, England and Wales, England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, European Electoral Regions in England, Scottish Parliamentary Regions, and all Parliamentary Constituencies throughout the United Kindom. The Parliamentary Constituency boundaries used are those as defined following the General Election in June 2001.
The information in the report provides valuable input to the Parliamentary process. It is designed for ready comparison between constituencies or with Census results for other types of areas such as wards, local authorities or health areas. It is the only report combining information from the three Censuses held in the UK in 2001.
The printed report, which was laid before Parliament, contains supporting information and the Parliamentary Constituency profile. The accompanying CD contains the profile and the full Key Statistics tables in SuperTABLE format.
The results are also available online through the Neighbourhood Statistics Service (NeSS) website.
The Key Statistics tables
The Key Statistics dataset consists of a series of 33 tables which provide a summary of the complete results of the Census. They are designed to enable easy comparison between areas across the full range of Census variables.
The Parliamentary Constituency profile table
The profile provides consistent summary results on the topics of 'people'and 'households' for all Parliamentary areas throughout the United Kingdom.

The content of the constituency profile is consistent for areas throughout the UK.
The Key Statistics tables have a consistent core in all parts of the UK, but some variation reflects the differing needs of the devolved administrations. Differences between the Key Statistics for the different parts of the UK are provided in a PDF file.
Maps of constituencies throughout the UK are included in the printed report and on the accompanying CD, and are also viewable through the Neighbourhood Statistics Service website.
