The bilingual report First results on population in Wales contains data for Wales as a whole and all Unitary Authorities in Wales.
The printed reports, which were laid before Parliament, contain the first results from the 2001 Census - resident populations at Census Day (29 April 2001) by sex and age.
The first results tables
The tables contained in the 'first results' reports provide:

five year age band resident population figures for all people, for countries, regions, counties, and local and unitary authorities
