Following successful events in 2012 and 2013, ONS are pleased to announce plans to hold two further Census Analysis summer workshops in London and Manchester during July 2014.

As well as providing users with an update of census releases and accompanying analyses, the workshops will provide an opportunity for discussion around future plans and reflection on ONS Census Analysis work programme so far. Sessions for the day will include:

  • The story so far – what the census has told us about England and Wales in 2011

  • Making use of census data – examples of analyses from ONS and others and the impact they have had

  • Future analysis plans – overview of ONS census analysis plans and an opportunity to share and discuss analysis being produced more widely and the requirements for this

Attendees to the event will have the opportunity to:

  • Comment on the analysis produced to date and proposals for future analysis

  • Discuss the relative priorities of these to help shape the ONS census analysis work programme

  • Share with the group how they have used census data and what plans they have for further analysis

Venues and dates

These events are free to attend but numbers are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment
