These tables contain sampling variability and revisions analyses for Labour Market indicators for the Countries and Regions of the UK. These cover employment, unemployment, economic inactivity

These tables contain summary Labour Market indicators for the Countries and Regions of the UK. These cover economic activity, employment, unemployment, economic inactivity, workforce jobs and Claimant Count by sex. Further regional estimates are available in tables HI00 to HI11 of this release.

These tables contain experimental quarterly statistics of unemployment by age for regions and countries of the UK, based on the Labour Force Survey for the three month period February to April 2013. These tables also contain historic data for the three month periods from July 2006 to September 2006 onwards. Tables containing annual National Statistics of unemployment by age for regions and countries of the UK, based on the Annual Population Survey, are available in the Headline Indicator tables HI01-HI11.

Labour Force Survey summary. This table shows the headline employment, unemployment and inactivity series. This spreadsheet has been set up in printer-friendly format showing data for the last two years, with historic data appearing in hidden rows. The spreadsheet has macro buttons to unhide the rows to enable users to view the entire time series. If the macros do not work this is probably due to the security settings on your computer. Educational status and labour market status (employment, unemployment and inactivity) of people aged from 16 to 24. This table shows estimates for people in full-time education and people not in full-time education. Not in full-time education includes people in part-time education and/or some form of training. Estimates of young people not in employment, education or training ("NEET") cannot therefore be derived from this table. Estimates for young people who are NEET are published in a separate release on the website. Reconciliation of estimates of employment and jobs. This spreadsheet reconciles estimates of workforce jobs (derived primarily from employer surveys) with estimates of employment (derived from the Labour Force Survey). The spreadsheet is updated in those months when estimates of workforce jobs are published

This dataset contains the main labour market statistics data series. All of the series in this dataset are available in spreadsheet format from the labour market data tables. In this dataset Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates are shown for the mid-month of the three-month average time periods. For example, estimates for January to March 2012 are shown as "February 2012", estimates for February to April 2012 are shown as "March 2012", etc.
