This table provides 2011 Census estimates that classify the usual resident population by national identity, for regions, counties, London boroughs, districts and unitary authorities in England and Wales on census day (27 March 2011). National identity is a persons assessment of their own identity with respect to the country or countries with which they feel an affiliation. It is not dependent on legal nationality or ethnic group. The national identity classification used in this table is a 91 category classification.

This table provides 2011 Census estimates that classify Household Reference Persons aged 16 to 64 living in households by approximated social grade, for regions, counties, London boroughs, districts and unitary authorities in England and Wales on census day (27 March 2011). Social grade is a socio-economic classification used by market research industries to analyse spending habits and consumer attitudes.

These tables contain quarterly net investment data arising from financial transactions (investments) made by insurance companies, self-administered pension funds, investment trusts, unit trusts and property unit trusts. Also included are quarterly balance sheet data for short-term assets and liabilities, along with income and expenditure data for insurance companies and self-administered pension funds. All data are reported on a current price basis. Tables updated quarterly are: A, B, C, D, R, 1.1, 2.1, 2.4, 3.1, 3.4, 4.1, 4.3, 5.1, 6.1. In addition, every third quarter release contains annual balance sheet data for all the institutional groups

These tables also contain historic data for the three month periods from July 2006 to September 2006 onwards. Tables containing annual National Statistics of unemployment by age for regions and countries of the UK, based on the Annual Population Survey, are available in the Headline Indicator tables HI01-HI11.

This dataset presents weekly provisional counts of the number of deaths registered in England and Wales in the latest eight weeks in which data are available. The provisional data relates to deaths registered in a week (ending on a Friday) and are compiled at the end of the following week.

This publication is produced monthly and provides price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group level. It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters. Turnover and Orders in the Production and Services Industries time series dataset January 2013.

Cost indices (purchase of materials and fuels, average weekly earnings, general expenses and combined costs) relating to four aerospace and electronics industries. The data are based on the Standard Industrial Classification SIC (2007) and are calculated on a base year of 2005=100. The indices are widely used by government and business as an authoritative source of information on inflation, cost adjusting and price variation in trading contracts. Indices for the latest two months are always provisional and flagged with a "p" marker due to the level of imputation present for items where the latest prices are not available. This level of imputation reduces significantly for earlier months, allowing index data to be published as firm values. Occasionally, new information produces a change in the value of an index already published as firm. Where change is significant, index values are recalculated and annotated with an "r" marker.

Revisions to data provide one indication of the reliability of key indicators. This spreadsheet shows summary information on the size and direction of the revisions which have been made to the data covering a five year period. A statistical test has been applied to the average revision to find out if it is statistically significantly different from zero. These numbers include the effect of the reclassification onto SIC 2007.
