You have requested information from the 2011 Census under the Freedom of Information Act. Statistics from the 2011 Census in England and Wales will be freely available on the Office for National Statistics (ONS) website in accordance with a planned timetable for release.
ONS has already published some statistics on people in Communal Establishments and these are available for England and Wales, local authorities and lower geographies in Quick Statistics table QS421EW. The table is available as a spreadsheet for local authorities from this page on the website or can be downloaded from the Nomis website or the Neighbourhood statistics website:

Note that this table does not give age and gender information. Information on type of Communal establishment and sex by resident type and age will be available in the release planned for between July – October.
