The Office for National Statistics (ONS) produces internal migration estimates on both a quarterly and an annual basis.
This consultation is concerned with the quarterly publication of rolling-year interregional migration estimates.
Due a combination of the annual mid-year estimates being regarded as more robust and greater availability of data on the ONS website it is proposed that the rolling-year interregional migration estimates are no longer published.

A summary of responses will be published approximately two months after the consultation has closed.
