Natural capital and the services they provide are part of our nation's wealth, and therefore it is important to measure them. To fully include the value of natural capital into the UK Environmental Accounts by 2020, the Natural Environment White Paper committed Government to publishing in 2012 a roadmap to 2020 and to make early changes by 2013. This consultation updates the current thinking and progress, and seeks views on what the scope and priorities should be in moving towards 2020 goal, including views on:
