Consultation on 2006-based Subnational Population Projections
The ONS are consulting with Local Authorities on the initial migration assumptions, and with all interested parties on wider issues.
The consultation period is for 6 weeks from 6 March 2008 - 17 April 2008. Local Authorities should discuss the assumptions with Health Authorities, Primary Care Organisations and other relevant authorities before making a joint submission in response to the first part of the consultation. Please read the documents under Related Links before completing the Part 1 Migration Questionnaire.
The second part of the consultation is regarding a proposed change in published outputs and the possibility of producing variant projections. Responses are welcome from all interested parties to this part of the consultation, and should also be submitted by 17 April if possible.
