ONS's Consultation on Statistical Products was open for public comment during September and October 2013. It sought views on the impact of proposed cuts to a number of statistical outputs, necessitated by a reduction in funding.
Over 650 organisations and individuals representing a range of backgrounds and interests took part, and the results reflect these views. Thank you to all who participated.
The full results are contained in the public response, which lists the outputs in the consultation that ONS will continue to produce; those we are discussing alternative funding for with other public sector bodies; and those that will no longer be produced by ONS. There will also be some changes to the General Lifestyle Survey, which are detailed in the adjacent impact report.
Background information, including a link to the original consultation questionnaire, is on the consultation page.
