Since then there has been intensive development work of new measures of well-being that include - but go beyond - measures of economic performance such as GDP.
In December 2011, we published estimates of human capital and in January 2012, developments in Environmental Protection Expenditure Accounts were released.
Between October 2011 and January 2012, we consulted on the first set of domains and measures for national well-being. A summary of findings was released in February and a revised set of measures was published in July 2012. These will continue to be improved and consulted upon.
Several articles have been published on subjective well-being, the latest being the first annual experimental subjective well-being analysis in July 2012.
