Relationship of NUTS Areas to UK Administrative Geographies

Within the UK, Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) areas / local administrative units (LAUs) are determined as shown in the tables below.

NUTS areas are stable and will only be amended periodically.

LAUs are amended annually to reflect administrative boundary changes.
