2011 Census Outputs

Consultations

Over the past two years extensive consultations have taken place to define the range of 2011 Census products and services. The range and scope of these products and services are intended to meet the needs of the wide variety of census users; from those who wish to obtain a broad overview for a particular area, to those who require very detailed and specific information about a topic.

The most recent consultation on the main series of statistical outputs took place between February and April 2011. The consultation analysis report was published in July 2011.

Further consultations on more specialist products and services have also taken place including the following workshops:

• Small-population products 

• Analytical products

• Origin-destination (flows) products

• Microdata products

A full outputs timetable and prospectus will be made available in March 2012.

ONS is aware that users need to be kept up-to-date with plans for the delivery of 2011 Census. The following products are available for download:

 ONS is in the process of publishing a set of proposed table layouts for the planned 2011 Census outputs on the main statistical residency base. The tables published as of 25 November include:

• 2011 Census Outputs revised new tables

• 2011 Census Outputs revised Univariate (UV) and Key Statistics (KS) tables

• 2011 Census Outputs revised CAS and CAS theme tables

• 2011 Census Outputs revised Standard and Standard theme tables
