This dataset contains Average Weekly Earnings (AWE) series. The AWE is the ONS's headline measure of short-term earnings growth. The data is derived from the Monthly Wages & Salaries Survey, a survey of employers.

This dataset contains the main labour market statistics data series. All of the series in this dataset are available in spreadsheet format from the labour market data tables. In this dataset Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates are shown for the mid-month of the three-month average time periods. For example, estimates for January to March 2012 are shown as "February 2012", estimates for February to April 2012 are shown as "March 2012", etc.

These tables contain experimental quarterly statistics of employment by age for regions and countries of the UK, based on the Labour Force Survey for the three month period November 2012 to January 2013. These tables also contain historic data for the three month periods from July 2006 to September 2006 onwards. Tables containing annual National Statistics of employment by age for regions and countries of the UK, based on the Annual Population Survey, are available in the Headline Indicator tables HI01-HI11.

This set of tables contains the latest public sector employment estimates. For most sources that contribute to these statistics, the employment is reported for a specific day in December 2012. The public sector comprises central government, local government and public corporations as defined for the UK National Accounts. Estimates of public sector employment are provided on a headcount and full-time equivalent basis for sectors and industries, and also by region on a headcount basis only. In addition, Civil Service employment is provided by government department and agency. Employment in Executive Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) is provided, aggregated by sponsoring department. Since the inclusion of some financial institutions in the public sector in 2009, estimates for public sector employment and employment in public corporations have been provided with and without these financial institutions. Estimates of private sector employment are provided.

This reference table provides full historical series for the monthly tables accompanying the January 2013 House Price Index Statistical Bulletin. This reference table also contains all the quarterly live tables transferred to the ONS from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). Please note that during the transfer, the Office for National Statistics has renumbered the live tables - full details of the new numbers and their corresponding DCLG numbers can be found in the contents tab.

Contains cost indices (purchase of materials and fuels, average weekly earnings, general expenses and combined costs) relating to four aerospace and electronics industries. The data are based on the Standard Industrial Classification SIC (2007) and are calculated on a base year of 2005=100. The indices are widely used by government and business as an authoritative source of information on inflation, cost adjusting and price variation in trading contracts. Indices for the latest two months are always provisional and flagged with a "p" marker due to the level of imputation present for items where the latest prices are not available. This level of imputation reduces significantly for earlier months, allowing index data to be published as firm values. Occasionally, new information produces a change in the value of an index already published as firm. Where change is significant, index values are recalculated and annotated with an "r" marker.

This dataset provides price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group level. It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters. Indices for the latest two months are provisional due to the level of imputation present for items where the latest prices are not available. The latest five months are subject to revisions in light of (a) late and revised contributor data and (b) revisions to seasonal adjustment factors which are re-estimated every month.

Revisions to data provide one indication of the reliability of key indicators. This spreadsheet shows summary information on the size and direction of the revisions which have been made to the data covering a five year period. A statistical test has been applied to the average revision to find out if it is statistically significantly different from zero. These numbers include the effect of the reclassification onto SIC 2007.
