This dataset contains the main labour market statistics data series. All of the series in this dataset are available in spreadsheet format from the labour market data tables. In this dataset Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates are shown for the mid-month of the three-month average time periods. For example, estimates for January-March 2011 are shown as "February 2011", estimates for February-April 2011 are shown as "March 2011", etc.

This dataset provides price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group level. It consists of data supplied from individual UK manufacturers, importers and exporters.

Correction notice: 21 March 2012 A significant error has been discovered in the trade in goods country dataset. This error was caused by a mistake in the processing of adjustments applied to data and affects all published country data from January 2011. The UK Trade statistical bulletin, time series data, Excel and PDF tables have all been affected and have now been updated. Time series dataset: UK Trade is a key economic indicator due to the importance of international trade to the UK economy. It is also a very timely statistic, providing an early indicator of what is happening more generally in the economy. In addition, it is a major component of two other key economic statistics – UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the UK Balance of Payments. In addition, every third quarter release contains annual balance sheet data for all sectors providing information on the market value of assets and liabilities. Annual income and expenditure data for insurance companies are also reported at this time.
