Environmental accounts are satellite accounts to the national accounts, measuring the interactions between the economy and the environment. The UK Environmental Accounts were released at 9.30am on 11 June 2010. Alongside the latest statistics, an article has been published outlining the proposed strategy for the UK Environmental Accounts for the next 3 years. The Office for National Statistics is holding an open consultation on this proposed strategy and any comments are welcomed to environment.accounts@ons.gov.uk. Specific points of interest are:
