Training and self-development opportunities
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is recognised as an Investor in People organisation and makes significant investment in training and development. We are committed to the continuing professional development of all our staff.
At its discretion, ONS can provide financial support to staff to pursue further education, such as MSc, PhD and external training courses. This may be through evening classes, National Vocational Qualifications, distance learning material or Open University courses.
We also promote wider learning and development in areas such as policy making, management, communications, project management, strategy and finance.
