Prospects - a rewarding future
As an Assistant Statistician we would expect you to progress by competing for promotion to Statistician (Grade 7) within six years of appointment or sooner, and the selection board will be looking for the potential to reach even higher levels. Promotion prospects for Statistical Officers are also excellent, with all promotion on merit. You can reach the Senior Civil Service whichever route you select.
