The 2011 Census
The next full census of England and Wales will take place in 2011.
Before any census is held, a detailed planning programme is run to determine what information will be gathered, how it will be captured, how it will be processed and how the results will be produced and delivered. Information about the 2011 Census project will be published as it becomes available.
The 2011 Census project includes a 2007 test of the data collection processes, and a 2009 Rehearsal of the full census system.
