Quarterly Inquiry of Projects in Progress

The Quarterly Inquiry of Projects in Progress is a survey of businesses within the construction and allied trades sector in Great Britain. The survey collects information on the progress of a sample of new construction contracts originally reported by the contractor on their Monthly Inquiry of Contracts and New Orders form. Selected projects are monitored from start to finish, by cumulative values, until completion.

The results of the survey give a good indication of economic trends within the industry.  They are also used to provide a sampling frame for the Key Performance Indicator survey which measures and benchmarks the performance of the industry.
