Key Performance Indicator Contractor Survey

The Key Performance Indicator Contractor Survey is a quarterly survey of businesses within the construction and allied trades sector in Great Britain. It collects information about completed projects that are selected from contributions to the Monthly Inquiry of Contracts and New Orders and Quarterly Inquiry Projects in Progress.

The survey is used as a tool to benchmark a company or project against performance across the industry, and contributes to the production of national Construction Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  KPIs enable government to measure the industry’s improvement over time by comparing performance year on year. They are also used by clients and their suppliers to assess performance, benchmark against national levels of achievement, and set improvement targets.
